Available Vent Covers for Trailer Refrigerator Vents
Question:
I have a 7 X 17.5 inch opening, metal, 2.5 inches high, refrigerator vent on a 1979 Winnebago pull camper. Has a Sibir fridge. The old vent cover blew off and the old owners just put in a piece of wood to cover it. Am wondering, with slight modifications, if this camco cover would work. Thanks.

For a camper trailer that is about 40-years old you may well have to make do with an alternate part. The reason the trailer's previous owner's did not replace the fridge vent might be that the correct size is no longer offered by any of the popular brands like Camco and Ventline.
All such items we offer are displayed on the linked page. The nearest to yours in overall dimensions is the Ventline # V050400-V015703 which measures 5 x 18-inches.
The Camco cover you referenced, part # CAM42163, is intended for any of three brands of vent base, Camco, Dometic, and newer Norcold bases. If you can submit a photo showing the vent base and opening that might help us offer you a workable solution.
