Automatic Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

I would like an auto slider hitch in my 61/2 box the truck came pre drilled will it be difficult to find a auto slider hitch to pull a 39ft total length fifth wheel probably 18000 to 20000 lbs would be the way to go, a side question, is a 39ft fifth wheel too much for this truck I really dont want to go shorter, the camper weights 13500 dry, I want a very good hitch that doesnt weigh a ton

I looked up your truck and for the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 HD the standard towing capacity is 14,500 so your 13,500 lb trailer woudn't be an issue at all as long as you stay under the capacity.

For an automatic sliding hitch we have the Demco Hijacker 21k part # DM8550035 which can install in your factory rail kit with the adapter part # DM6194. This hitch can come apart to help break up the weight of it, but it is a heavier hitch as all slider hitches are.
