Replacement Installation Hardware for Valley Hitch 82580 for 2005 Honda Element
Question:
So I have a Valley hitch to fit a 2005 Honda Element. Hitch #82580. Problem is, I dont have any of the mounting hardware. From what I understand the company went out of business which is made finding anything rather difficult. I was wondering if by chance you had any of the hardware for this hitch? Thank you for your time.

Helpful Expert Reply:
You are correct that Valley did go out of business. But since we do offer other hitch brands for your 2005 Honda Element you can use a hardware kit for one of those hitch products.
You will want to verify the size of the hitch receiver opening; it will be either a 1-1/4-inch Class I or a 2-inch Class III size hitch. You need to use hardware for the class of hitch you have to ensure it has the required capacity. All currently-available hitches for your car are shown on the linked page.
What I suggest is comparing your Valley hitch to those shown. Select the hitch size/class you have and use the hardware for the hitch nearest in design. What you want to do is order part # RHK and on that item's page enter the brand and part number for the hitch of the correct class that is closest in design to yours.
