When wiring two batteries for 12V use you will want to connect the batteries in parallel. You will connect the positive terminals to each other and the negative terminals to each other. You will run a wire from the negative terminal on one battery to the metal frame of your trailer, and then you will run the opposite batteries positive terminal to the wiring connection on your trailer that will correspond to the 1 o'clock pin on our towing vehicle.
Usually you will want to use cables like # DW04362 and # DW04363 for these connections and then use the extra terminal for your connection to the frame or the trailer 12V positive wiring connection.
If you have batteries with both large and small terminal connection options, you can utilize either option or both if you prefer.
