Plug In Brake Controller Adapter for Tekonsha Controller on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee

Question:

My kids gave me a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller for my 2015 Jeep Cherokee its not a Grand Cherokee, but a Jeep Cherokee Latitude with the factory tow package and my new Casita trailer. Do I need an extra wiring harness for the installation of the brake controller? Thank you.

Yes, the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # 3014-P will allow you to install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude without having to cut or splice any wires.

I have attached an install video of this harness which shows you where the factory plug is located. It is on a similar 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee but the process will be similar if not the same as your 2015 Jeep Cherokee.
