At this time we do not have a install video of the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 on the 2009 Chevy Avalanche. However, I do have detailed install video on the 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and the 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche linked to this article. These install processes are very similar to yours because the 2013 Avalanche is the same generations as your 2009.
After mounting the P2 unit in your cab using the included pocket mount, hardwire one end of the included pigtail harness directly into your vehicle. The other end plugs into the brake controller.
