Will this work on 2011 Honda Pilot with factory side bars and crossbars? And will it clear the hatch?

The Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier # TRX44FR will mount to any vehicle's roof rack crossbars that are up to 3-3/4-inches wide x 1-3/16-inches tall and that are spaced apart by 22-inches on centers.
The box will still mount with wider bar spreads if you drill additional holes in the bottom of the box; (you can seal up extra holes using # LT37467 or black silicone caulk from your local hardware store). Rear hatch clearance just depends on your chose mounting position for this great-value USA-made cargo carrier.
A useful accessory for rooftop cargo applications is a handy folding step like Telestep's step # TE97FR which is an inexpensive, lightweight folding step that comes fully-assembled. This gives you about a foot of extra reach for easier loading and unloading.
