How to Mount Chain Hangers to Trailer with Box Above Frame
Question:
I’ve put a box on the tongue of my enclosed car trailer now my bars are to long to hook up can I move everything 6 inches shorter and then move the chains 6 inches closer to the tongue. Thanks

What you'll need is a set of chain hangers that can bolt to the side of the trailer frame as they do not require clearance above it like the clamp on style does. If you have a Reese weight distribution system you'd need the part # RP58305.
The Curt equivalent is the part # C17005.
