Tie Down Model 70 Surge Brake Actuator Replacement Recommendation

Question:

I have a Model 70 actuator on my Boat trailer disc brakes, dual 3,500# axles. It seems like it might be cheaper/easier to just replace it rather than get the master cylinder kit for it. Can you recommend a replacement actuator? I am not brand specific, but it would be nice if it used the same bolt pattern.

For a disc brake model with an electric reverse lockout solenoid you can use # 099-175-20.

Replacement for Tie Down model 70? Trailer GVWR is 6975. Also replacement bearing assembly for TDE 46210. Off a 2 axle Venture boat trailer. Used in fresh water.

The Dexter Brake Actuator # 099-175-20 Jameson mentioned above will work really well to replace your Tie Down Model 70 unit. It looks like the TDE 46210 hubs use the L44649 and L68149 bearings so the Bearing Kit # BK2-100 is perfect.
