Is B and W Companion Hitch for Ram Rail Kit Compatible with Sidewinder Pin Box

Question:

Had a B and W Companion fifth wheel hitch installed in our 2015 Ram 2500 with puck system towed our 2017 Grand Design, Reflection 150 series fifth wheel trailer, 1200 miles safely. The pin box is a lippert swivel pin box with a wedge used. Have since been informed by the dealer, that the hitch is not compatible with the pin box. No further explanation provided. What are your thoughts on this compatibility problem, and what hitch woud you recommend ? Thank you!

I believe your dealer is confused. Most of the B and W Companion hitches can't be used with a Sidewinder like what you have since most of them only attach with a center post. Your # BWRVK3600 can though as it attaches to the truck bed in four places. As long as you are using the correct wedge part # SWW-06 you'd be fine.
