Can a Reese Signature Series Hitch Be Used in a Chevy Silverado 3500 with Factory Rail Kit
Question:
Will my 18K Reese Signature Series hitch fit my new 2018 Chevy 3500 with the factory pucks or can I still use a Reese mounting kit along with the factory mount.

I do have an option for you but there would be no way to use the Reese 18K Signature Series 5th Wheel you have with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 that has the factory puck system. The pucks in the truck would not align with the feet on the hitch and the brackets needed to use the hitch would not fit with the brackets you have for the factory puck system. They also do not make an sort of adapter for this purpose.
Instead, I recommend selling the hitch and upgrading to a B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch part # BWRVK3770 for 6-1/2' beds or part # BWRVK3700 for 8' beds. This hitch will fit into the factory puck system in your truck and provide you with a towing capacity up to 20,000 lbs. They are considered to be the best 5th wheel hitch in the industry. It has 1" thick dual locking jaws, a fully articulating head, and uses rattle-free polyurethane bushings. The hitch also has a lifetime warranty and is made right here in the U.S.A.
I have attached a review video on each hitch for you as well as an installation video.
