I have everything you need to get your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo setup for towing and hauling your kayaks. For towing you are going to need a trailer hitch receiver, trailer wiring harness, ball mount, and hitch ball. I recommend using the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75699, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118727 without the factory tow package or part # 118384 with the factory tow package, and the Ball Mount Kit part # 989900.
The trailer hitch has a Class III rating and will provide you with a 2" receiver tube opening. If you do not have the factory tow package then you will also need to take the vehicle to the dealer to have them activate the wiring. The ball mount kit has two ball mounts that both offer different rise/drops but you will want to take a look at the attached help article to make sure they are correct for both the vehicle and trailer. I have also attached an installation video for each of the above products for you as well.
