Are Any Additional Fittings Needed for the Valterra Hydroflush # F02-4100

Question:

I have a 1983 Shasta I live in full time. This is a new to me adventure and I am finding out new things all the time. The sewer hose just uses a standard hose with a screw on type clamp. Will I need to use an adapter fitting for where it connects to the trailer AND where the sewer hose connects to the Hydroflush?

Expert Reply:

The Valterra Hydroflush # F02-4100 has the bayonet male and female ends so it will sit directly in between the waste valve on your 1983 Shasta and your sewer hose.

Your standard hose, like the Valterra Flushing Hose # W01-4180 then connects to the Anti-Siphon Valve # A01-0141VP (which is included) which, in turn, connects to the Hydroflush. The only time you would need an adapter on one of your hoses is if they already have some sort of adapter on them, but you could most likely remove it instead of adding another adapter.

I have linked a picture and a review video for you to check out.
