To accommodate a rough ride in your 2016 Toyota Sienna you can use the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEN04 which helps to prevent body roll and absorb shock.
Since you mentioned it occurs while towing I am wondering if the jerking feeling you are describing is because of trailer sway. In that case you would want a Weight Distribution (WD) system like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37060ET which is specifically designed to level your towing setup and prevent trailer sway from crosswinds and passing vehicles.
If you go this route, you want to choose a WD system with a Tongue Weight (TW) range that the Total Tongue Weight (TTW) of your towing setup falls in the middle of. To find the TTW of your towing setup you will need to add the TW of your fully loaded and ready-to-go trailer along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. Keep in mind that a properly loaded trailer will have a TW that is 10-15% of the loaded weight of your trailer.
The system that I referenced has a TW range of 200 lbs - 600 lbs. Let me know if your TTW is outside of that range and I can make an additional recommendation. Please note that if that system is correct, it includes everything that you need but we do recommend using a thin-walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800 to make installing the hitch ball much easier.
