How to Use a Winch on the Front of a 2018 GMC Yukon XL

Question:

Is there any reason this wouldn’t fit a 2018 Yukon XL Denali? I need to mount a winch and apparently nobody makes a winch mount or bumper for this vehicle.

According to Draw-Tite, the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65064 is a confirmed fit for a 2018 GMC Yukon XL. The hitch will provide you with a 2" receiver tube opening on the front of the vehicle which can be used for a winch tray or to move a trailer around.

If you also need a winch tray to use with this hitch, then I recommend part # BDW20011. The plate measures to be 12-15/8" long x 8-5/16" wide. There are 8 mounting holes which accept a variety of different bolt patterns. The best part about this tray is that is has two mounting holes to be used with your roller fairlead. Don't forget to protect your winch and tray with a locking hitch pin like part # e98880.
