I saw that for your 2018 Jayco Class A you had input that you have a Ford F-450 cab and chassis. Typically the Class A RVs are built on bigger chassis like a Ford F-53. For this chassis you would need the adapter part # 3035-P to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. If you can verify that your chassis is an F-53 then that would indicate that they gave you the incorrect adapter.
The connector for the adapter should be under the driver side dash right above the emergency brake pedal. If this doesn't look correct then you may find it behind your steering column. I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha the other day and he said that Ford was supposed to move the connector to under the dash so it was more easily accessible though.
If you do not have an F-53 chassis or you do not have a Tekonsha brake controller just let me know what you have and I will be happy to further assist you.
