Chain Hanger Recommendation for 5 Inch x 1-1/2 Inch Trailer Frame

Question:

Im looking at weight distribution chain hangers to bolt on to my trailer. Im wondering which one you recommend for a 5 inch c-channel frame 1.5 inch thick. The trailer is rated at 10K pounds. I just want a solid hanger that matches the dimensions of the trailer frame, it does not need to be lifting type, just stationary hanger. Thanks

I recommend taking a look at the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems # RP58305 which will work so long as your trailer frame is no wider than 2-1/4". These hangers are 5" wide x 3-5/16" tall and bolt on to the side of your frame; they have a 14,000 lb towing capacity and 1,400 lb tongue weight capacity so they will work for your 10,000 lb trailer.
