Is Wiring Harness Needed for 2014 Infiniti QX60?

Hi I have a 2014 Infiniti QX60. Do I need a wiring kit for my trailer hitch? Where does the wiring kit plug into?

You would need wiring harness # 119250KIT for your 2014 Infiniti QX60 only to power lights on an accessory that would go into your vehicle's trailer hitch. The hitch available for your '14 Infiniti only has a Class I hitch available, the Curt # C11510, and according to your owner's manual, this vehicle should not be used for towing so the wiring would only be needed if you were to use a cargo carrier, for example, that had lights that needed to be plugged in.

The harness that fits your Infiniti uses sensors that clamp onto the wires of your tail light harness so it would not plug in. I have added a link to the installation instructions of this harness for you to check out as well as a link to a video of this harness being installed.
