The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 is a great brake controller and I believe you will be very happy with it! To install it on your 2012 Ford Expedition you just need the Plug-In Adapter # 3035-P.
This adapter typically plugs under your driver side dash and also has a connector that plugs directly into the controller. We do not have a video for this particular application but we do have the linked video of the P2 # 90885 (predecessor to the P3) being installed on a 2006 Ford Expedition. This should be the same, but since we haven't done an install for the 2012 it might be in a slightly different location.
If you have a 7-Way on your Expedition then you are good to go. If you have a 4-Way there is some additional wiring that needs to be run. Let me know if this is the case and I can make a recommendation with more information.
