Trailer hitch pins and receiver locks, such as the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 1480DAT that you referenced, do not typically have a listed Class rating or weight capacity. This is simply because they are built with extreme weight bearing capabilities that can handle any weight that would be put on them (regardless of the trailer hitch's weight capacity). If you see a Class rating listed on a hitch pin or lock, this is simply in reference to the receiver size (1-1/4 inch, 2 inch, 2-1/2 inch, etc) that it is designed to work with, and not its actual weight capacity.
The Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock is designed for 2 inch receivers and will work great for your Class III hitch. It has an inside/usable pin length of 2-3/4 inches and a pin diameter of 5/8 inch. Its stainless steel swivel head rotates for easy access and the key-retaining design prevents "false locks" (the key cannot be removed unless lock is secure). 2 keys are included.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
