Front Hitch Recommendation for Ground Clearance for 2017 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
I am searching for a front received hitch for my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. It is already pretty low, so popping out under the air dam is too low. Do you offer a hitch what will extend about where the license plate cover is located? Ive spent hours looking at options and reading reviews and watching youtube videos and I have ZERO confidence that I will pick the right hitch without some insider knowledge. Can you help? thanks,

All of the front hitches we offer for your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 are going to install below the front bumper. The Curt part # C31069 will have the best ground clearance as it sits the highest and the hitch opening hangs down below the crosstube of the hitch unlike the Draw Tite.
I attached a picture that shows the Curt hitch when it's installed and the area of the air dam that gets trimmed.
