Is a ST185/80-13 Tire Offered in a Radial Ply
Question:
Hi, im now looking to change my trailer tites. I will need 185/80r13 with a load of 1480lbs. I use the trailer all along the year and our winter here in Quebec is very snowy. Which brand model of tires should be the best for 4 seasons with a good grip during winter ? Thank you.

I do have an option for you but the only 185/80-13 trailer tire we carry has a bias ply, not a radial ply like you requested. A bias ply tire will be better for short trips that might lead off road whereas a radial ply tire will be better for long highway trips. If you are okay with a bias ply tire then I recommend part # AM1ST79 which is a 185/80-D13 tire with a 1,710 lb per tire rating.
If you must use a radial ply tire then you will need to select a smaller tire size like 175/80-13 which is offered in a radial ply. For this, I recommend part # AM10210 which is a 175/80-R13 tire with a 1,610 lb per tire rating. A 175/80-13 tire will be .3" in diameter and .2" in width smaller than a 185/80-13 tire therefore should still work well for you.
Both of the above tires are made by Kenda and will work well in all 4 seasons, even winter. They also come with a 2-year warranty.
