Troubleshooting Trailer with Turn and Brake Signals that Work but not the Running Lights

i have a 2014 jeep grend cherokee and the running lights stoped working the brake lights and turn signal lights work but not the running lights? Please help

Since the running light circuit is different than the turn and stop circuits you most likely have a short somewhere on this circuit.

Start off by checking the connector on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and your trailer to make sure they are clean and free of debris and corrosion. Next check the running light function with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on your Jeep. If you are getting a signal, then the problem is on your trailer. If you are not getting a signal, then you will want to check your fuse to see if that is in good working order.

If the fuse doesn't need to be replaced on your Jeep, or the problem is on your trailer then the next step is the same. Examine the wiring for your running light circuit to make sure it isn't damaged or pinched anywhere and replace as necessary. Also check all of your ground to make sure they are secure and connected to a good, clean surface.
