Metal Valve Stem Recommendation for Trailer Wheel to Handle Higher PSI

Question:

I presently have a flagstaff elite travel trailer with alloy rims. The tires that came on it were rated at 65psi. I would like to go to a higher rated tire but the tire pressure would be 95 psi. I have been told a metal valve stem is all I need in order to run the increased pressure. Is that true. My wheel weight is far under the capacity of the tire now. I just want to go to a heavier tire in hopes of avoiding blowouts. I do all the things you are supposed to do to avoid blowouts but still have had two in the past 3 years causing much damage.

We have the Americana valve stem part # AM20906 which is a metal valve stem that fits valve stem hole in trailer wheels that are either .453 and .625 inch. These two sizes basically cover all trailer wheels. The valve stem can also handle over 100 psi so in that regard it would work well for you too.
