Installation of the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack on 2013 VW Tiguan

Question:

Hi, I got this system for my 2013 VW Tiguan with raised side rails. It seems that part of the design when you tighten the clamps to fit securely on the rails includes a part that comes up from underneath. When I do this, it makes it impossible to re- the 2 locks with the Allen wrench because this piece from underneath blocks it from going all the way in. Am I doing something wrong? Cant seem to figure a way around it.

On your 2013 VW Tiguan with raised side rails, the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG215 is a confirmed fit. I've attached a couple of videos to help with the installation of this system for you. There shouldn't be a part that comes up underneath to keep your locking tool from being re-installed to secure your rack. It sounds like you may simply need to turn your key to align it correctly for the fit. If you can send photos of the issue, I'd be happy to further assist.
