Brake controllers are universal, and you can use just about any brake controller in any vehicle. So, yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, item # 90885, will work with your 2006 GMC Envoy. However, we do not have a vehicle-specific brake controller adapter for your Envoy. If you have a factory tow package wiring harness, then you will need to hard wire this brake controller to the existing wires under the dash of your Envoy, see video link. If the tow package wiring is not present, it can be installed by using the Brake Controller Installation Kit, item # ETBC7. Please note, this kit utilizes an existing 4-pole wiring harness.
