How to Activate 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way for Battery Charge on Trailer
Question:
Have a 2018 f150 xl. No power to 7 pin in back, except lights. Do I need to run 2 power wires to that pin. Will it work on my truck. Will it charge battery on trailer.

There might be a relay or fuse missing under the hood of your truck to complete the 12 volt power circuit of the 7-way. But if you wanted a solution that would work and not require any guess work you can run a wire from the 12 volt circuit of your 7-way (1:00 pin) to the positive post of the battery through a breaker like # 9510 with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 and you'd be set.
