I am not sure if your 2006 Mazda 3 Grand Touring S features the fixed mounting points on the roof. I recommend taking a look at the roof of your vehicle to see if you can locate four black rubber gutters. The fixed points, if present, will be located beneath the gutters and will essentially be a series of threads in which to mount bases for a roof rack system.

There are variety of potential options available for a roof rack on your Mazda 3 Grand Touring, which will be dependent on not only if it has the fixed points, but also if you have the 5-door hatchback or the sedan model.
