Can an Aftermarket Brake Controller be Installed on a 2014 Ford F-350 with Factory Brake Controller

Just had disk brake upgrade on camper my 2014 f350 with factory brake controller not working right wondering if i can replace with after market and be able do use plug and play cable

Yes, you would still be able to retain the plug and play connection should you choose to install an aftermarket brake controller on your 2014 Ford F-350 with the factory integrated brake controller. To do this, I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3034-P.
The Tekonsha P3 is considered to be one of the best brake controllers on the market. The integrated safeguards, easy to use LCD display, and storable settings make this a crowd favorite. I have attached a review video of the controller for you below. However, in order for the controller to work you will need to go to your local Ford dealer and have the factory integrated brake controller turned off. It can always be turned back on should you remove the aftermarket controller.
