Largest Roof Box That Fits 2018 Honda CR-V With Factory Roof Rack

Whats the biggest roof box I can fit on my 2017 honda crv ? We have roof racks that honda put on.

The Thule Motion XT # TH629906 gives you 22 cubic feet of cargo space, which is the largest capacity available, and according to Thule it will fit the factory crossbars on a 2017 Honda CR-V. This box measures 91-1/2" long x 37-1/2" wide x 18" tall, uses quick-release clamps for an easy installation and the lid automatically locks when shut so your cargo is secure.

In order to know if you can still open the rear hatch on your CR-V you can measure from the center of your front crossbar to the seam where the roof meets the hatch. If that measurement is at least 55 inches you will be able to open the hatch without issue, as you can see in the accompanying chart I've added.
