Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ram 3500 with Factory Rail Kit

I have a new Ram 3500 with the fifth wheel prep package. I would like to put in a fifth wheel hitch for our camper. I would like to know what package I would need. Thank you,

Congrats on the new truck! We have great hitch options for your truck but since I can't quite tell if you have a long or short bed I am going to give you two sets of recommendations that are pretty similar.

If you have a short bed truck you'll need a slider hitch to allow you the needed clearance to make tight turns. For that my favorite option is the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3670 which is a slider hitch that fits your rail kit directly. Many refer to the Companion hitches as the nicest hitches around so this would be a fantastic option.

If you have a long bed truck you'd instead want the fixed hitch version part # BWRVK3600 which will also work really well.
