Can Top Hatch of 2016 Honda CR-V be Opened With Yakima FullBack On?

HalfBack # Y02636 and the FullBack # Y02634 Looking to carry two bikes, but would like to be able to open hatch on a 2016 CRV without removing rack, is this possible?

The Yakima FullBack # Y02634 would not be able to stay on your 2016 Honda CR-V while you open your hatch. As stated in the linked directions, opening the hatch with the hooks could potentially damage your CR-V.

Please note that when using a trunk-mounted rack like the Yakima FullBack # Y02634 it's possible you'll need bike frame adapter bar # Y02531 if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike. The bar will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack.
