In order to add or replace a spindle on a trailer axle I would need to know the shape of the axle (round/square) in addition to the diameter (1-1/2",1-3/4", 2" etc.) If you have a round 1-3/4" diameter axle then I recommend using the EZ Lube Spindle part # TRU74FR.

You would then need to match the braking assembly to both the brake mounting flange on the spindle and the capacity of the axle. For a 3,500 lb axle with a spindle that has a 4 bolt brake mounting flange, I recommend the Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit part # AKFBBRK-35 which is compatible with 13", 14", and 15" diameter wheels.

The correct hubs/drums would need to match the dimensions of the brakes, bearing seats on the spindle, and the bolt pattern of your wheels. For a hub/drum that will fit the above spindle and braking assembly, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K which works with wheels that have a 5 on 4-1/2' bolt pattern.
