Ball Mount Recommendation for Draw Tite Hitch Installed on 2017 Subaru Outback  

Question:

I have a 2017 Subaru Outback and Im going to purchase Drawtite hitch 75673. I saw that the hitch height is 15 inches. The trailer Im getting lists a hitch height of 15 5/8. The trailer uses a 2inch ball. The weight range of the trailer is 1200 to 1550 pounds. What ball mount and ball should I be using?

The perfect ball mount you'd want since you need a rise right at 5/8 inch is the Curt ball mount part # C45010 which has a 3/4 inch rise. For a 2 inch ball you'd want the part # 63845 or for a 1-7/8 inch ball you'd want the part # 19260.

All of these would fit and work well with the Draw Tite hitch part # 75673 that you referenced.
