Does Installation Hardware for CURT Trailer Hitch # C15323 Have Same Weight Capacity as the Hitch
Question:
Are the bolts with this hitch strong enough for the 16,000 lbs? Or are they rated at stock ratings or is that the just the hitch itself is rated for 16,000 lbs?

Expert Reply:
The CURT Trailer Hitch, # C15323, is rated for 17,000 pounds gross trailer weight when used with weight distribution. The bolts will be rated the same.
You will want to check the vehicle owners manual to determine its specific tow capacities. Whichever is lower, the vehicle or the hitch, is the weight capacity you will need to go by. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
