Does Fading Green Light of Tekonsha Voyager Over Years Affect Performance of Controller
Question:
RE: Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller. I have the above model brake controller connected to my 2006 GMC, and has been for 5+ years. Lately Ive noticed the green indicator light, showing trailer connection, has been not as bright as it used to be, and can only be seen when looking straight down into the controller. Should I be concerned that the brake controller has a problem? The trailer brakes seem to be working fine. Please advise...

The green light is most likely just starting to get worn out from time. It's only function is an indicator light so it would not have any affect on the performance of the controller. As long as the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 is still functioning fine otherwise you'd be fine.
