Trailer Wiring Recommendation for Vehicle with Separate Turn Signals from Stoplights
Question:
I have a 4 pin , wired into a 5 pin trailer , i wired up the trailer everything works expect the brake light ! Blinkers good taillights good ! But When I push the brakes,the tail lights go out on the trailer only ! Please help thanks !

Standard trailer wiring combines the stoplight and blinker circuits onto the same wire. What you described sounds like you are trying to use 4-way wiring wired to a vehicle with separate blinkers from stoplights.
On your tow vehicle you'll want to install the 4-way harness part # 119250KIT to convert the signal of your tow vehicle that is separate to combined so that you get the circuits to match what your trailer has.
