Will the Curt Q25 With the 16017 Leg Kit Fit the Under-Bed Kit # RP30073 for a 2009 Ford F-250

Question:

HI, I came into position of a Curt 5th Wheel Hitch Head and Legs #16565/16017 for Ford Trucks. I have a 2009 Ford f250 Diesel long bed and need an under the bed after market or OEM Puck bracket that will work to mount this hitch. This is as close as I could get to finding a unit that might work but not sure. Here is a picture of the page of the bracket I found. Thanks

The Curt Q24 # C16545-16017 is compatible with the newer Ford OEM puck packages. Since the (discontinued) Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit RP30073 that fits your 2009 Ford F-250 has the pucks in the same location, the Curt hitch is compatible with this under-bed kit.

Please note that the under-bed kit is rated for 18,000 lbs. Even though the Q24 is rated for 24,000 lbs you are limited to your lowest rated component. It is best to always check your owner's manual to ensure you don't exceed the towing capacity of your vehicle either.

If you don't already have a 7-Way in the bed of your F-250 then I also recommend installing the Bargman 7-Way Connector # 50-97-410 to make connecting and disconnecting your 5th wheel trailer much easier.
