Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-250 without Factory Rail Kit

Question:

I have a 2017 Ford F250 FX4 Crew Cab with 6 3/4 ft bed, no factory installed pucks or aftermarket rails. A 5th wheel purchase will occur this Spring and I wish to to tow with an Anderson ultimate. Could you advise what parts I would need for this setup?

You can install the Andersen Ultimate Connection part # AM3200 in the bed of your 2017 Ford F-250 short bed without the factory rail kit. All you need is a set of fifth wheel rails in your truck bed. For that you would want the Reese rail kit part # RP50074-58.

A custom install kit will install in less time than a universal kit and will minimize drilling. This is the rail kit the Ultimate is designed to work with as well.
