Are Trailer Hitches Checked Before Shipping?
Question:
If I buy a trailer hitch for my 2017 nissan pathfinder,can you guys check to make sure the paint is not chipping off it before you send it?I read some reviews where when they received it the paint was coming off it and I didn`t want to have to repaint it. Thank You

Before a hitch is shipped we do check for paint being chipped off and one is never sent with chipped paint so rest assured the hitch you get will leave our warehouse in perfect condition.
For a hitch to use on your 2017 Nissan Pathfinder I highly recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 76031 because it will not require any trimming of the fascia during installation like the option from Curt # C13309 will. You can power your trailer's lights by adding a 4-flat to your Pathfinder with the factory tow package with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118670 or you can add a 7-way with T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118273.
If you are going to be towing, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise.
