Length of Trailer Tongue Needed to Install Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator # T43397007K
Question:
What is the recommended length of the tongue necessary for the T4339720? I have to weld on a new tongue anyway and want to know what length to get

Expert Reply:
The Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator # T43397007K requires around 5 inches of frame to attach to. If you add the shroud and the breakaway solenoid # T4748800 that adds around another 4 inches so a safe length would be 9 inches. But depending on your trailer setup I'd recommend getting the actuator and test fitting it to see what length would work first before adding to your trailer.
