Leaf Spring Recommendation for Trailer with 3 inch Diameter Axles with Springs are 26 inches Long

Question:

Dear Sirs/madam, Im looking to replace the leaf springs on my tandem axles car hauler trailer. The axle diameters are 3, I have found no labels on these axles to determine their load rating capacity however, the wheel hubs have 6 lugs - so I would guess the axles are somewhere between 6,000 to 7,200 lbs. The existing leaf springs are 26, eye to eye, 4 leaf, but I do not know their weight carrying capacity. I would like to upgrade to 6 leaf springs to fit into the existing mounting hangers/equalizers. Your comments and suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

A 3 inch diameter trailer axle is very commonly a 6k axle so you are on the right track with your estimate on the capacity.

We have the part # e94SR which is a 6k leaf spring that has 6 leafs like you need and is 26 inch from eye to eye.
