Will Slider Hitch Work With 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 With 6 1/2 Foot Bed

Question:

I have a 2015 Chevy 2500 with a 6 1/2 foot box I was told that I didnt need a slider because I had a 6 1/2 foot box is that true ? And if I do need a slide am I am towing a camper with a shipway of 11200 pounds maximum tow weight of 14,000 pounds will the Reese 30094 work for me

The slider units are an option for a 6 1/2 foot bed. Since you have a short bed truck you will need to go with a slider hitch to allow you the clearance to make tight turns without cab interference.
