Since you already have a Stowmaster tow bar and Blue Ox Patriot there are just a few more parts you will need though I would need a bit more information from you to get you exactly what you need. Is your 3.5L engine the EcoBoost? Do you have adaptive cruise control? And finally, do you have adjustable pedals? If you get back to me I can give you everything you'll need to flat tow your Explorer.

For your 2016 Ford Explorer the parts you will need apart from the tow bar and supplemental braking system start with base plates. I recommend the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-524445-4 which is compatible with both your 2016 Ford Explorer and Stowmaster tow bar. you will also need safety chains # RM-643. For wiring kit that will allow your Explorer's lights to function while being towed you can use the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154, and it is also recommended to use the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 because your Explorer's battery needs to be disconnected when flat towing. Along with your Blue Ox Patriot supplemental braking system you need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 which activates the motorhome brake-monitoring system whenever the brake pedal in the towed car is applied; using 12-Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 will also be needed due to your battery being disconnected. Finally, it is likely you will need a high-low adapter such as # RM-076 to keep your Explorer level with your tow vehicle. The adapter you need is going to depend on some measurements you'll need to take. I have added a link to a help article on high-low adapters which explains the measurements you'll need, as well as a link to our page with our selection of adapters. I've also attached links to video reviews of the other aforementioned parts for you to take a look at.
