Can 49 Inch Long Rhino-Rack Crossbars be Used on a 2013 Toyota Prius

Hi I’m interested in buying the rhino roof rack for my 2013 Prius with a naked roof and I was wondering if I could use the 49” crossbars instead of the 46” that they call for? Also if I bought used crossbars could I still adjust them for a perfect fit to my Prius?

Yes, you can swap out the 46" crossbars Rhino-Rack recommends for your 2013 Toyota Prius with 49" crossbars. The only thing you will need to make sure of when using the 49" crossbars is that they do not extend out past the side mirrors of your vehicle as this is illegal in some states. The correct Rhino-Rack roof rack system for you with 49" crossbar is compiled of part # RRVA126B-2 for the crossbars, part # RRRLKVA for the mounting feet, and part # DK195 for the fit kit.

As long as the used crossbars you are interested in are the same model of bar then yes they will work for you. I have attached a review video of this system on a similar model for you as well.
