How to Reduce Trailer Sway on a Snowmobile Trailer
Question:
I have a three place enclosed snowmobile trailer and i tow it with my 2009 yukon xl. when on the highway it sways a little. I am wondering if there are sway bars that will fit on something like this. The tongue is very short and i am not sure if they make something to fit.

I do have options for you but I would need to know more about the trailer in order to make a confident recommendation. We have products such as the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit part # 83660 which will do an excellent job of helping to manage/reduce trailer sway but your trailer will need to meet a few conditions in order for it to work for you. For example, the sway control bar only works with a-frame trailers that do not have a surge brake coupler. As long as your trailer meets these two conditions then it will work well for you. In order to use the sway bar you will also need a sway control tab like part # RP26003.
I have attached an install/review video of the friction bar for you as well.
