Question:
Thinking of buying a 5th wheel and need info on your 16k. I have a 2018 f250foot xlt crew cab, 6.8foot bed. The truck comes with 5th wheel hitch prep. Which rail is need to accommodate your hitch and the trucks prep? Tks,

Since your 2018 Ford F-250 is a short bed you'll want a slider hitch to give you the clearance you need to make tight turns. The Husky Hitch part # HT31313-31314 is a fixed hitch so it would not be ideal for you.
Instead for a 16k hitch that fits the rail kit of your truck direcly and wouldn't require an adapter we have the Curt 16k hitch part # C16520-16020 which has a much nicer jaw design than the Husky you mentioned so it will provide a smoother ride quality overall.
