Can Hub and Drum Assembly AKHD-545-2-2K Use 14 or 15 Inch Wheels?
Question:
Hi Guys, I hope all is well... I just bough a lift kit and electric brakes and hubs from you guys..AKHD-545-2-2K. I wanted to adds a little more clearance to the T@G. so I would like to get bigger tires/wheels I read in one of your FAQ that someone was running a 15 inch wheel on this hub, but I wanted to check with you guys to see if I can use an 14 inch or 15 inch wheel on this. As you probably know the T@G is very light 1200lbs at most fully loaded Thank you guys

Thank you for your purchase and yes, Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-2-2K is compatible with either 14 inch or 15 inch wheels so long as they have the same 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern of your hub. You only need to make sure you have enough clearance for that size tire on your T@G trailer; we recommend 3 inches of clearance between the tire and fenders.
