E-Bike Rack Recommendation for Volkswagen with 1-1/4 inch Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a VW Sportwagen, and have the smaller hitch. Will my hitch have problems with the weight of two electric bike if I reduce the 2inch hitch to my smaller hitch size?

We have a great bike rack solution to carry E-bikes like what you have with a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch, but it's not with the Hollywood Racks bike rack you mentioned. Instead you'd want the Thule EasyFold part # TH903202 .
It's specifically designed for heavier E-bikes like yours and can fit 1-1/4 inch hitches also. This rack also has a built in ramp as well to make loading/unloading easier.
