Compatibility of Engine Oil Temperature Reading for 2007 Nissan 350Z with Edge CTS2 # 84130

Question:

I see in a previous answered question that one parameter of the CTS 2 unit is engine oil temperature. I have a 2007 Nissan 350Z with this unit and just updated today 3/3/18 and have no option for the engine oil temperature. I know that my OBDII monitors EOT because I have monitored it with a separate laptop based software.CTS2 PN 84130

The Edge Insight CTS2 Comprehensive Gauge Display - 5" Color Touch Screen with Swipe # EP84130 is not able to pull that parameter from your specific vehicle. In order to get that you would need to add the EAS Universal Sensor Input # EP98605 and EAS Temperature Sensor # EP98608. Those additional parts will allow you to get the engine oil temperature and give you access to further options.
